East Ohio Camps is a ministry at three sites - Aldersgate, Asbury and Wanake. Each of our sites offers a traditional summer camp program for all ages. In the days where “leave no child inside” is becoming so critical, every child needs to have the opportunity to experience God in nature. And, in a week of summer camp, there are more contact hours with campers than a years’ worth of Sunday School classes (if they had perfect attendance). Campers come to these great places and have incredible experiences, make new friends, try new things, learn about God, learn about themselves and take it all home. There is something for everyone – children, youth, adults and families.
East Ohio Camps also offers other opportunities for older youth at other locations including Lakeside and Malone College. Lakeside is a gated community on Lake Erie’s Marblehead Peninsula. It has been the long-standing place to gather for Lakeside Institute and Reachout. Malone College, located in Canton, is a beautiful campus and new home for Senior High Christian Youth Fellowship. Programs held at these locations include in-depth Bible study and worship, mission projects, seminars and workshops all of which will enrich your life of worship and help to grow life-long relationships.
At our three East Ohio Retreat Facilities, Aldersgate, Asbury, and Wanake, our goal is to provide comfortable settings and quality programs through which people can experience Christ’s love for them and all creation, and have the opportunity to share that love with others. We can provide accommodations year round for a small intimate setting or a large group gathering. Our retreat staff looks forward to hosting your next gathering
